Hi guys,
I have today's nail design to share with you and also a crochet project.
The nails::
 I've been looking for a design to use my fairy stamp.  I finally came up with something that I think works well.  I used a light pink glittery polish from Savina.  Obviously the fairy (Red Angel plate) and lace were stamped in black.  My go to black to stamp with is Sinful Colors Back in Black.  Works great!!  As always its sealed with SECHE VITE!  Unfortunately, my plates & polish are at home and I am not; so if you have any questions about specific stamps or polishes I used please leave a comment and I will certainly get the information to you.
And to the crochet project::
I made a headband!  It was a quick project, but I really enjoy the way it turned out.  If anyone is interested in one of their own, I can make them in any color.  Only $5.  Tons of fun!!!
Tell me what you think!

I know I know.  I was supposed to finish the skirt a long time ago.  And I did.  We've been so busy lately.  With me switching jobs, my hunny possibly switching jobs, the cars, the new house, school starting soon, and a few friend's weddings.  It's been a lot of time away from the computer.  But K has worn the skirt to two weddings.  Here are a couple pictures!!
 She likes snakes and lizards and other creepy crawlies.  Weird kid.  I was terrified of creepy crawlies when I was a kid.  Still am.

Tomorrow I will be back to post my roommie's homemade tortilla chips.  My hunny made us BOMB nachos last night using them....YUMMM!

So, I took the plunge and signed up for an Etsy seller's account. Hopefully there's someone out there that wants to buy stuff that I make.  Who knows, we'll see.  I will post here when the site is fully set up.  Looking forward to all you guy's support.  I know you won't disappoint...and I will try not to as well.

I've been meaning to post this for ages now.  But I didn't put it up until we moved.  And well it just looks a holey blanket until its hung.
She loves it...And now her bed isn't jampacked with furry friends...

If anyone wants to know how it's made, I can post a tutorial.  Just let me know.

Now that my thumb is all healed, I'm enjoying the small things in life again.  I know that sounds plain silly.  But I can crochet again!!  Yay!  So, I basically made up a pattern in my head and went with it.  I'm making my step-daughter a skirt for the summer.  She loves brown.  So without further adieu:

Cute, huh?

It will have a dark brown liner, two more rows of the variable brown and be worn with brown tights.  I lurv the pattern.  If anyone has ever read my posts about crocheting you'll know that I am uneducated on reading and interpreting patterns but I know how to do the stitches.  So, I usually make things up in my head.  They rarely turn out like planned.  However, this did!!  I'm excited.  I will surely post a photo of the finished product with her wearing it!!

Here are two more scarves I actually finished before "lacerating a digit".

This is what I did with the left over camoflauge yarn from the ultra long scarf for my boss.

&& this one is for someone that has yet to receive it, so I will leave it at that.  It's a closer knit mesh.  I'm really having fun experimenting with mesh patterns...
&& here is the beginning of a surprise experimental project...

I really will shut up about scarves for a while after this post, PROMISE!  But I finished three scarves this weekend.  I'm so excited!!!

Fairly stiff, very WARM scarf.  Given to Step-dad's wife for Christmas.

SUPER long camoflauge scarf.  My boss requested this one, and it seemed like a fun idea.  To get a feel of how long this thing really is, think about this: I'm 5'3", wrapped once this scarf hits the ground.  She loves it!

Long burgundy cowl-neck scarf.  I picked this yarn up at Wal*Mart on a whim, and I really like it.  It has flecks of your primary colors in it.  Very cute.  No owner yet.

And I bought these shoes because they were $10 and so unique and cute.  I mean, tan suede "converse wanna-be's" with faux fur lining.  Problem:  What in the hell do I wear these with?  What would you wear them with?
♥♥
Thanks for reading, everyone.
Please come back.
Please comment.

I really wanted to make a real simple mesh scarf.  So I copied the pattern from the oh so many beautiful mesh scarves on Flickr.  And I decided that I should go with a simple color.  Now, I really want a royal purple one with smaller gaps.  Here's my mesh scarf:

The pictures aren't real clear, but the scarf color is cream.
